This is the installer for the Xposed framework, which is a requirement for all modules.
Xposed is a framework for modules which could change the behaviour of the gadget and apps with out touching any APKs. That is excellent as it approach that modules can work for different versions or even ROMs without any changes (so long as the unique code changed into no longer changed too much). It is also smooth to undo. As all changes are carried out inside the memory, you just need to deactivate the module and reboot to get your original gadget returned. There are many different advantages, but here is simply one extra: more than one modules can do adjustments to the equal a part of the device or app. With modified APKs, you to decide for one. No way to combine them, until the writer builds a couple of APKs with extraordinary combinations
